Sick Trumpet, is an independent record label based in the Cultural melting pot that is Liverpool at the other end of the M62 from Manchester and run by 2 blokes from North Wales, Phat Phil Cooper and Ste Hodge who have been mates through the love of beats and parties since the early 90's... Sick Trumpet started life as a club night by Phil, Ste and Chibuku resident DJ, Phil Charnock as a release for their soulful, eclectic sounds, bringing guests such as Rainer Truby, Landslide, Kelvin Andrews and Kelvin Brown to Liverpool...

With ears pinned back and soaking up the exclusive sounds the guest DJs where presenting and the tracks that where finding their way to the trio, Phil and Ste decided to set up the label, 1st release was from Sweden's Opolopo, a dinked 7", the release was well received and the rest, as they say, is history, well not quite, but you get the idea...
